British-Persian cellist Ariana Kashefi is in great demand as both a chamber musician and a soloist. She began her musical education with Robert Max at the Royal Academy of Music where she achieved a first class honours degree before completing her masters at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Professor Frans Helmerson where she graduated with the highest possible mark. Ariana has been the recipient of several international scholarships including the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Julius Isserlis scholarship. She has been invited to play with the Britten Sinfonia, London Chamber Orchestra, RTÉ concert orchestra and West-East Divan Orchestra amongst others. During her career Ariana has received guidance from such luminaries as Steven Isserlis, David Geringas, Ralph Kirschbaum and Gary Hoffman. She is a Talent Unlimited artist and a winner of one of Making Music’s awards for young musicians. In 2018 she was a prizewinner in the Anton Rubinstein Cello Competition and also a finalist for the Pierre Fournier Award.
British pianist Petr Limonov was born in Moscow and began playing the piano at the age of five. He is a past winner of the Nikolai Rubinstein Piano Competition and is a pupil of Maria João Pires and Dmitri Alexeev. The Nottingham Post commended his “intelligence…intensity…subtlety and sophistication” and Classical Music Magazine has described his playing as “multi-faceted” and Petr himself as possessing “an endless array of possibilities”. He is sought after internationally as a soloist and has appeared at La Roque d’Antheron Festival in France, the Queen Elizabeth and Wigmore Halls in London as well as at the Conservatory in Moscow. Petr has played a solo recital for His Majesty King Charles III and his arrangement of the Auld Lang Syne (from Nicola Benedetti’s ‘Homecoming’ album, Decca) was performed in the Albert Hall at the BBC Proms. On the 6th of March 2022, Petr conducted an open-air orchestral concert in Trafalgar Square, London in protest at the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Netherlands-born violinist Charlotte Spruit is a prize winner of numerous international competitions, including the Young Classical Artists Trust International Auditions 2023 first prize and audience prize and the Genuin Classics prize at the Leipzig International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition, as well as prizes at the Kloster Schöntal International Violin Competition, Concours International Arthur Grumiaux, Oskar Back Violin Competition and Anton Kersjes Violin Prize in 2020. She is a 2023 Grand Prize winner of the Young Classical Artists Trust’s International Auditions, and was selected as one of Classic FM’s ‘Rising Stars’ of 2024.
A keen chamber musician and soloist, Charlotte has performed at prominent locations such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall in London and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. As a concerto soloist, Charlotte has played with numerous orchestras, including the Residentie Orkest The Hague, The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Pauliner Barockensemble, and Ensemble Esperanza.

In 2024, Gabriel Francis-Dehqani won First Prize at the Muriel Taylor Cello Competition and the Irish Heritage UK competition, held at Wigmore Hall. He was also awarded First Prize at the International Contemporary Music Competition (2023). Gabriel has broadcast numerous times as a soloist and chamber musician on BBC Radio stations 3 & 4 and performed extensively throughout the UK, Europe and Asia. He is a 2024/25 Britten Pears Young Artist and has been invited to festivals around Europe such as The Encounter of Music and Academy of Santander, International Summer Academy (of the University of Vienna), Schiermonnikoog, IMS Prussia Cove and has enjoyed giving recitals, masterclasses and jury work across China.
Will is a London-based pianist and composer. As a collaborative pianist, Will has performed recitals at Cheltenham Festival, St James’s Piccadilly, SJE Arts Oxford and Queen’s College Oxford. He was the St Hilda’s College Graduate Musician-in-Residence 2021-22, performing a series of solo recitals at the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building. He has worked as an accompanist for Temple Church, Oxford Youth Choirs, Primrose Hill Choirs, Cambridge Holiday Orchestra and Oxford Music Faculty. As a composer, Will won the BBC Proms Inspire Composition Competition and has been commissioned by the BBC Singers, Oxford International Song and Ludlow English Song festivals. His composition ‘Cetus’ for Annemarie Federle was premiered on BBC television as part of the BBC Young Musician competition. He was a 2023-24 National Youth Choirs Young Composer and his pieces ‘Fireworks’ and ‘Three Madrigals’ were released on NMC Records as part of the scheme, the latter published by Stainer and Bell in their Choral Now series. Will is also active in the London choral scene and performs regularly with St Martin’s Voices, having been a 2023-24 Emerging Artist with the group. Will recently completed a MMus in composition at the Royal Academy of Music, having previously studied at Worcester College, Oxford.

Their unusual style combines classical, flamenco and finger picking techniques with the energetic stage presence of lead guitarists. The wide repertoire of the duo spans from Bach to Piazzolla’s tango music and from pop, rock and jazz standards to their own compositions.
They have travelled the world enthusing audiences in New York, London, Tokyo, Moscow, Beijing, Vienna and Hong Kong – in 2009 performing live to half a million people in Europe alone. Their eleventh CD ‘Alhambra Inspirations’ was released in the Summer of 2024.

As the only ensemble to ever win both First and Audience prizes at the Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition in Italy (2024), the Fibonacci Quartet are one of Europe’s leading young string quartets. Originally formed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the Fibonaccis are a Resident Ensemble at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid with Günter Pichler and at the Dutch String Quartet Academy in Amsterdam. Following public finals at Wigmore Hall last May, they were selected to join the Young Classical Artists Trust roster.
During the 2024/25 season the Quartet will perform extensively throughout Europe, including concerts in the UK, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain and France. They will undertake residencies with ProQuartet in Paris and Britten Pears Arts in Aldeburgh, as well as teaching and performing at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff in their position as Resident Quartet.
The Fibonacci Quartet are prolific prize winners and have received numerous awards including First Prize in the Royal Overseas League Chamber Music Competition, First Prize in the Cavatina Chamber Music Competition, The RPS Henderson Chamber Ensemble Award, First Prize in the International Triomphe de l’Art Competition in Belgium, The Kirckman Society Award, Audience Prize at the Schiermonnikoog Festival and Special Prizes of the Shostakovich Association in Paris and Peermusic in Hamburg.
