Welcome to Brickwall Music & Arts Society
Offering excellent live classical performances
Brickwall Music & Arts Society
Since 1967, Brickwall Music & Arts Society has been offering excellent live classical performances, without the need to travel for miles! We hold 5 concerts a year at Northiam, in the glorious music room of the 400-year-old Brickwall House, home to Frewen College.
We host both experienced and up-and-coming artists (giving the latter a platform for wider exposure) and in recent years have presented Melvyn Tan, Alessandro Taverna and the Allegri and Villiers Quartets. Each season brings a fresh new programme and a unique opportunity to experience quality recitals locally.
Where are our concerts held?
Concerts are held at Brickwall House, Northiam, TN31 6NL (off the B2088), with kind permission of Frewen College. There is free parking, disabled access (and toilets) on site.
When are our concerts held?
There are 5 concerts per season (usually held from August to April) on Friday evenings, starting at 7.30 pm. Please see the Concerts page for this season’s dates.
Tickets and
Membership
Annual membership for the current season costs £100 per person for 5 concerts and individual concert tickets for non-members are £23 each. We are strictly limited to 60 people in the music room – and members are always guaranteed a place – so non-members should contact us in advance to enquire about ticket availability.
Similarly, we ask members let us know if they are unable to attend concerts so that we can sell individual tickets to room capacity.
Please use the link below for both non-member ticket enquiries and members advising us when they cannot attend concerts.
